"I spent so much time browsing for this montessori bed. I didn’t want to buy the super expensive ones I found at Etsy because at the end of the day they’re not gonna use it for too long. I came across this one and despite the fact there’s a little space on the side because it’s not twin size (it’s a little larger) I added side bumpers to hide that space and my daughter sleeps comfortably there every night. Because it’s a floor bed she has more autonomy now and she can get out of bed by herself in the morning allowing me more time to rest. Overall I loved this bed and so does my daughter."

"Bed is super cute, & not super difficult to put together. Took me about an hour. I have read reviews on this bed from other sellers saying it was too big for a twin size mattress, and I didn’t have that problem at all, perfect size for our twin mattress. Only thing that was a bit annoying was all the stickers they put on their were hard to get off."

"This bed is SO cute and perfect for my little one who has outgrown the crib, but not quite outgrown the need for some side boundaries and low profile incase of climbing out. This bed was assembled by 2 people: me and my 7 year old, so it was very easy to put together and didn't take longer than an hour max. My only note on this bed is that there is only one configuration: with the little opening on the right side of the bed. I didn't even think about that when ordering, but her room currently does not allow for the bed to be positioned with the right side out. I thought I would be able to just switch the side rails, but they fit a very specific way and were unable to be changed."

Hello Elise, Our floor beds do not have slats. In case you mean the distance between dowels of the fence, it is 81mm.
Does this come with slats for under the mattress?
